Personal Profile
Beth Hamilton has a career of 40 years across a range of environments within health care, and more recently integration with social care.

She gained an MBA which was used across senior operational management roles in Acute Care, Community Care, Specialist Services Care and in establishing Regional Clinical and Care Networks.

The latter part of her career has been spent working across mental health and integration services, this being a personal, as well as professional, interest. She spent four years as Mental Health Advisor at the Scottish Government where she spent much of her time working with third sector, and focussed on Human Rights approaches, working closely with the Mental Welfare Commission and Scottish Commission for Human Rights. Her most recent experience was working within an Integrated framework and actively worked in the integration of services across the health and social care spectrum.

She is a trained Chair within Scotland’s Children’s Hearing System and Vice Chair of a third sector mental health charity in Stirling.
