Personal Profile
Sam Riddell spent 22 years in the Medical Branch of the Royal Air Force, following which he started a second career in General Practice Management. He held the role of Practice Manager at Westgate for 23 years, working closely with NHS Tayside, has been involved in global health and has a link with a health clinic in Malawi. During his working life he has been exposed to several challenges, where decision making and being able to see the big picture have been vital. Sam will bring to the role his experience of leadership, team working and strategic management, which he has gained across his career. He also has experience of working collaboratively in a multi- discipline team environment, helping create a culture where team members give of their best; and is looking forward to drawing on his skills and experience to support NHS Tayside in providing the highest possible standards of healthcare.
