Volunteering with Angus Macmillan Day Services

Macmillan Day Services is for people living with life-limiting conditions.  Our services cover the whole of Angus and we are are at Stracathro Hospital, Arbroath Infirmary and Whitehills Hospital, Forfar on different days of the week.

Volunteers are a vital part of our team allowing us to provide a high quality, caring and personal service to patients.  Volunteers can help in different ways:

• driving patients to and from the Centres
• volunteering at the Reception Desk
• providing hospitality
• running craft groups and activities
• hairdressing
• gardening
• for qualified practitioners - a range of complementary therapies

If you have a cheerful outlook and the ability to get on with a wide range of people, then you will be a welcome addition to our small friendly team.  Whether you would prefer to help on a regular basis each week or just occasionally, that's fine - your help will make a huge difference.
