Travelling to Ninewells

We would encourage staff, patients and visitors to consider alternative ways of getting to hospital such as using public transport, cycling, walking and arranging to be dropped off by a relative or friend.

If it is essential that you travel by car, please leave adequate time to find a space prior to your appointment.

NHS Tayside has a Car Parking Policy to balance the needs of staff, patients and visitors, and ensure our car parks continue to be fairly and effectively managed.

Public Transport

Plan your journey with Xplore Dundee and Stagecoach who both run regular bus services to Ninewells.

There are electronic travel information boards within the main concourse detailing the times of next buses to leave and arrive at Ninewells.

From the bus terminus there is a short walk under cover to the main entrance.
