Does my child need to attend the appointment with me?

Yes. We need to be able to see the child or young person or it makes an assessment of their needs difficult. Your CAMHS clinician will let you know if there are any appointments where they do not need to attend. If you feel you need to share information that you don’t want your child to be aware of, let your clinician know.
