Tier 3 Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provide multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment for children and school age young people, although involvement with very young children 0-5 is uncommon.
The service supports children and young people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties that have a significant and persistent affect on all areas of life; home, school, relationships and daily functioning.
