Meet the team
Nursing staff
- The YPU Nursing staff provide a 24/7 service for the young people. The Nursing staff consist of Senior Nurse, Senior Charge Nurse, Charge Nurses, Staff Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and Clinical Support Workers.
- Network Nurses based in each region; Tayside, Highland and Grampian (plus Shetland, Orkney and Western Isles). Network Nurses are available Monday- Friday.
- Link Charge Nurse (Available Monday- Friday).
- Carer Support Worker (Available Monday - Friday).
Medical Staff
- The medical team are made up of consultant psychiatrists, a Speciality Doctor and an FY1 Doctor in the YPU who are available Monday to Friday.

Allied Health professionals (AHPs)
- Occupational Therapist.
- Dietitian.
- Physiotherapist.
- Speech and Language Therapist.
- AHP Assistant Practitioners.
Education
- At the YPU there are three teachers.
Admin/Management
- Service Manager is available Monday-Friday.
- Reception team (receptionist and medical secretary) are available Monday-Friday.
