Patient Assessment and Liaison Mental Health Service (PALMS)
- We are available within GP practices across Dundee for people aged 16 or over (who are no longer at school)
- This service is for people who are not actively open to any other mental health services or seen by other mental health professionals already
- You will receive one thirty minute appointment with a mental health specialist who will assess you and help you to work out a plan
- This could include:
- coping strategies
- self help materials
- signposting you to local community supports or
- where appropriate they could refer you for a diagnostic assessment or to more specialist services.
- Your GP may suggest you access this service, or you can request this yourself by contacting your GP Practice and asking for an appointment
