NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) Mentorship
The NHS CEP are looking for professionals from the health service, academia and industry to join their mentorship programme and help support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Clinical entrepreneurs are assigned a mentor during their first year on the programme. Mentors given their time voluntarily to help and guide entrepreneurs. There are many benefits to becoming a mentor including:
· Allowing others to benefit from your insight, experience and knowledge
· Sharing of personal and professional best practice
· Professional networking opportunities
· Developing mutual leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Developing a mutual sense of respect and professional validation
· Identifying opportunities for your mentee
· Invitation to the NHS CEP pit stops, workshops and partner events.

Scotland's Health Awards - nominate your Innovation hero(es)!
Nominations are now open for Scotland's Health Awards 2024, hosted by The Scotsman. The awards provide an opportunity for members of the public to recognise and celebrate their local health heroes across 16 different award categories including Innovation.
The Innovation award is for an individual, a group or a team developing innovative ways to improve health and social care in Scotland. Innovation has many forms and this award recognises clinical and non-clinical innovation. It includes research, use of new or emerging technologies, new ways of working, or faster, smarter access to services and treatments. It aims to recognise forward-thinking, innovative individuals, or teams, who have taken a creative approach to improve quality, delivery, safety or productivity within health and social care.
