- Discuss it with staff member in the Directorate of Medical Education

Training
If you have a concern regarding your training:
Undermining
Undermining and/or bullying is unacceptable and we have zero tolerance for this. If you have concerns about undermining (involving either yourself or a colleague), please report this through any of the following channels:
- Refer to policy: Bullying and Harassment
- Inform your Clinical Supervisor or Education Supervisor. If you feel unable to do this contact the Clinical Care Group Director and/or Clinical Care Group Manager in your department
- If you feel unable to do any of the above then please contact the Directorate of Medical Education TAY.directorofmedicaleducation@nhs.scot
Patient Safety
If you have a concern regarding patient safety:
If you believe you have a personal or health circumstance which you feel will affect your ability to undertake your role, or if there is a potential effect on either patient(s) safety or your own personal safety then you must discuss this with your Clinical or Educational Supervisor immediately. If either of them are not available then please discuss the issue with a Consultant in your department. As part of the process the Clinical Care Group Director for the department will be informed.

- Discuss it immediately with the supervising Consultant
- Complete a Datix (intranet – only available via a NHS Tayside computer)
- Discuss it with your Educational Supervisor
- Discuss it with the Clinical Care Group Director and/or Clinical Care Group Manager
