Background Information

The Scottish Government has provided funding to NHS Tayside to help improve maternal and infant nutrition. If you're running activities that support healthy eating for pregnant women, infants and children (up to age 5), or vulnerable groups, we'd love to explore how we can support you.

A wide range of activities can be funded - especially those that show a positive impact on nutrition and help engage local communities.

Examples of Eligible Activities
  • Funding to support the implementation of the healthy eating and cooking initiatives, including our NHS Tayside Eat Well Play Well Programme
  • Activities supporting Infant Feeding
  • Delivery of initiatives in a nursery setting which includes children & families
Please note: We offer a variety of free training opportunities for staff and volunteers.  In some cases, we may request that training is completed prior to delivering an initiative.  This will be considered on a case by case basis.

Funding Detais:

• One-off funding (non-recurring)
• Maximum grant: £500
