NHS Tayside Advice Centre Ninewells Hospital
NHS Tayside’s central Advice Centre, located at Ninewells Hospital, is a vital resource supporting individuals, families, patients and staff who may be facing financial hardship and social challenges. Operated by NHS Tayside’s Directorate of Public Health, the Advice Centre works in close partnership with local authorities and third sector organisations, to address the social determinants of health and reduce inequalities across the region.

The Advice Centre operates a holistic and person-centred approach, recognising that financial stress, poor housing, and food insecurity are deeply interconnected with negative physical and mental health outcomes. Staff are trained to identify needs, and signpost and/or refer to appropriate services, ensuring individuals can thrive and no one is left behind.
