Patient Education
Patients who have a declining kidney function are supported by our specialist nurse team to help them make decisions around future treatment options. These can include transplant, dialysis at home or hospital, or a non dialysis option (supportive care).
The specialist nurses will offer a separate appointment either at a patient’s home or in the hospital to allow time to explore the different treatment options available. We would encourage you to invite family or friends to this appointment.
