Accessing the V1P Tayside Service

If you have served for more than one day in the UK military, reserves or merchant navy (in support of military operations), you are a veteran.........
We accept referrals in a number of ways.  Veterans or their loved ones can self refer by phone, email, text message or calling into the office in person.  The team will take your details and a registration appointment will be arranged for you.

The registration appointment (Full Registration) will be conducted by one of the team's peer support workers.  During this appointment you'll be give the time to talk about the things you most need help with and the peer support worker will plan with you how your care and support will be provided.  Our service has developed links with many health and social care services and we will aim to help you to access the right help at the time you most need it.  If you think you may need help with your mental health, your peer support worker can arrange for you to be offered a mental health assessment at a day and time suitable to you.

As part of the registration process, we require a form of photographic ID for administration purposes, e.g., valid passport, UK drivers licence.

If you wish to be accompanied by someone, please let us know when you're arranging the registration appointment.
