The objective of the NHS Tayside Vaccination Service is to provide a safe, person-centred, comprehensive, consistent and accessible vaccination service for citizens.
The Vaccination Service delivers all vaccines recommended by Public Health Scotland and provided by the NHS to all eligible citizens across Tayside. The vaccination reach extends across all services such as Maternity, Paediatric/infants, Care home residents and citizens who require to be visited at home for vaccinations. All specialist services are in liaison with the vaccination services for any programmes which are limited to their particular needs. The Childhood Immunisation team ensure all vaccinations are delivered as per the Scottish School vaccination programme.
Immunisation/Vaccination Service

Service Description
Since the implementation of The Scottish Vaccination Transformation Programme, GPs are no longer responsible for the delivery of vaccinations. Most vaccines (unless specific local arrangement in place) are now delivered by the NHS Tayside Vaccination Service.
Tayside Central Vaccination Service
Clinics Operate from 3 central sites – Dundee City, Perth City and Angus-Forfar. These clinics are nurse led clinics. The central clinics are supported by pop-up clinics to support travel and access for citizens where possible. For eligible citizens home visits are organised and we routinely visit other facilities such as Care Homes for older adults. As well as Mon-Fri weekday clinics we occasionally offer out of hours and weekends, these will be communicated on social media. There are regular updates on the NHS Tayside Facebook page.
Information on clinics can be obtained via tay.cvs@nhs.scot
Patient information leaflets on all vaccines can be found by using the “search for product” function on MRHA website.
