Who to refer

Any patients looking for assistance with Welfare Benefit entitlements information or help to complete benefit forms. We deal with an any benefit issues including Universal Credit problems, Adult and Child Disability Payments, Maternity and Carers Benefits. We also provide Debt and Money advice to those struggling with the stress and cost of multiple debt issues. Advisors deal with all socio-economic issues faced by patients, helping to take such issues away from clinical staff.

Who not to refer

Anyone under the age of 16 or anyone under the age of 19 who are still classed as dependants.

How to refer

Those with a welfare rights advisor based within their practice will be able to book an appointment for the patient directly onto Vision.

For any GP surgeries without access to a co-located advisor simply email cas@dundeecity.gov.uk with details of the help required and the customer’s name, address and contact details.
