Personal Profile
Jenny Alexander was appointed to Employee Director of NHS Tayside on 5 July 2018.

Prior to this appointment Jenny was Partnership Facilitator/Vice Chair of Staff Side Area Partnership Fora.

Jenny has been involved within the NHS from the 1970’s, working in different roles which included registered Mental Health nurse and Partnership Facilitator.

Jenny was elected by the Trade Unions and organisations who sit on the NHS Tayside Area Partnership Forum.

In her current role as the Employee Director, Jenny co-ordinates the Trade Unions and organisations recognised by NHS Tayside. She is the voice for staff at a strategic level and co-chairs the Area Partnership Forum along with the Chief Executive.
Jenny has been committed to the Trade Union movement throughout her career, which involved working at all levels including being a member of the Scottish Trade Union Council General Council.
