Personal Profile
Nicky Connor has more than 25 years’ experience of professional and leadership roles both locally, and at regional and national level.
Her drive to inspire and lead teams to deliver truly person-centred initiatives to communities led her to senior nursing leadership roles before she took up the position of Chief Officer and Director of Health and Social Care in Fife more than five years ago.
Nicky’s move to NHS Tayside brings her NHS career back to where it started as she trained as a nurse at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and started her lifelong commitment to health and care on the medical wards in the hospital. She has worked in roles across the acute sector in cardiology, then in community nursing and health visiting before leading advanced programmes of work in the community addressing long-term conditions.
