Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy aims to enable people to live a more independent, productive and enjoyable life following an injury, disability or illness.  Occupational Therapists aim to help patients carry out everyday activities to maximise independence in all areas of daily life.  In order to achieve this, Occupational Therapists assess an individual's ability to participate in activities of their choice and carry out every day tasks including:  washing and dressing, work, which may be paid or unpaid, domestic tasks, driving, writing or managing finances, leisure, including socialising, hobbies and interests.

Our ambition is to offer everyone we work with the best possible patient experience.  If you have had a positive experience or have a recommendation around how we can improve our service we would like to hear from you.
