What are the MacX team?
‘MacX’ means maximum support.
MacX work with young people who are experiencing significant difficulties with their mental health, such as depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, eating disorders, anxiety, self harm, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, emotional dysregulation.
The MacX Team, work with young people in the community to prevent an admission in to hospital due to psychiatric illness. They also provide support to young people after discharge from hospital.
