What are the different routes for a referral into CAMHS?
The majority of routine referrals are made electronically via GPs.
Other written referrals from Paediatricians or other professionals who know the child well, are also accepted.
Emergency presentations where a child or young person had been admitted to hospital or is being treated in A&E are also accepted by telephone to the CAMHS Response Team.
