Art at the YPU
At the YPU we encourage young people to use their creativity.
Creativity can be very helpful for young people's recovery.
Art group on the YPU started again in September 2020
The following is how a young person has described the group
Art group takes place every monday evening at 6pm. During the group, we explore a variety of mediums and art styles allowing us to express oursleves and channel our mental energy in a positive and reatvie outlet. Sometimes we focus on a particular style or artisit but you always have free reign to get in touch with your imagination and focus on any kind of art you want from colouring in, to painting to sculpture"

We have display frames outside the Art room which we can use to display Art work.
We also work closely with local creative services for young people.
