School at the YPU
The young People's Unit has a school. The teachers at the YPU school will liaise with your own school to have your school work sent to the YPU. There is a powerpoint presentation about the YPU school available which was prepared by a pupil who attended the school. This powerpoint will give you lots of information about what to expect.
In December 2017 inspectors visited the YPU school and reported a number of positive changes since their visit the previous year. They reported that young people have a wide range of teaching experiences and that pupils feel that they can have a say in what they are learning. We really are "learning together for a better tomorrow". Here is the 2017 inspection findings.
