They are given portfolios managed by the DME to ensure there is medical leadership provided to all ongoing projects, as well as supporting clinical services delivering teaching and training across Tayside (DoME speciality portfolio further down this page)

The management team includes the Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager, Administrative Services Managers and Supervisors. These roles oversee the Directorate's functions and lead on a number of educational projects.

The administrative team comprises of several Administrators. The Administrators support clinicians working in the NHS who deliver teaching and training, coordinating learner placements and learning opportunities and being a point of contact for the learners. They also organise the boards professional induction for trainee doctors in February and August, as well as supporting the Recognition of Trainers process and preparation for Quality Management Visits.
