FaME (Faculty of Medical Educators

FaME awards were established to acknowledge, reward and encourage excellence in the teaching of undergraduate medical students. They are organised by the student-led FaME Committee, who invest a lot of hard work into coordinating the event annually. The awards are funded through Additional Cost of Teaching (ACT) and the winners use their monetary prizes to purchase educational resources or attend educational conferences. Nominations for the awards can come from either staff or students but the winners are decided by a voting process and presented at an annual ceremony.
