Community Child Health

We are a group of doctors and nurses who specialise in child health and development. We work in a team to provide support to children, young people and their families within Tayside. We see children after they have been assessed and referred by a health visitor or other health professional.

This can be for reasons such as:

• Developmental concerns in a child under the age of 5 years
• Complex health needs
• Vision or hearing problems
• Some specific genetic conditions

All referrals are reviewed to consider the best support for each child. We may give advice or direct the referral to another service.
