Visiting
Visitors may come at any time, subject to the discretion of the nurse
in charge. If your relative/friend is having treatment you will be required
to wait.
The nurse in charge or named nurse will deal with enquiries concerning
your relative/friends welfare or she will arrange a time for you
to see the appropriate staff member.

valuables should be given to relatives to take home or handed to ward
staff for safe-keeping. A careful record is maintained at ward/hospital
level which you or your family can view at any time. Nursing staff will
discuss any required purchases, such as new clothing with you and your
family. The Hospital cannot be held responsible for losses of money or
